In 1971 the Shea family started building homes deep in the Amish Country of Nappanee, Indiana, under the name Fairmont Homes. The Shea family was committed to building value for their homeowners. They believed that Fairmont could build affordable, attractive homes without compromising on the solid, strong construction and high quality components that would provide long-term durability and peace of mind for their home owners. Today, more than 40 years later, every Fairmont home is still constructed with that same commitment to value, strength and affordability that our customers have loved from the beginning.
